We made the most of the unseasonal weather this weekend and here's what we got up to...
Friday Night = scooters, park and a long walk.
Saturday = a drive to Bath, my first time to this truly beautiful city. Can't wait to return. We went on two open top bus tours (one in the city and one in the hills) and had lunch outside in a lovely italian. Perfect.
Sunday = A day by the river, jumped on a river cruiser and watch the crowds soaking up the sun. Bliss.
Hope you had a lovely weekend! x

Built in Beds
Although I know I am blessed with the house we are renting, I can't help but dream of when we next own our own home as there are things you want to do that you just cannot do when the house isn't actually yours. Like knock a wall down. Like wallpaper. Like Build Beds!
I have an obsession with built in bunk type beds that I just can't shake! Just the idea of snuggling up in your own little knook while still have fun with your fellow little monkeys makes me want to be seven all over again.
The question is how many children would I have to produce to justify four bunks in one room?! I'm not sure but these last images of Sara's kids room from August Fields are my favourite. The steps and shelving and individual lights are killing me! I can foreseen arguments on who gets top bunk though! xx

Joseph's Room Design
I've been busy re-jigging Joseph's room as it seemed to be a hodge-podge of colours and crazy things.
He turned six this month and I wanted the room to reflect that. So I decided to streamline his room, calm it down a bit and make it a haven he could sneek off to when he needs to escape his little brother!
I'm eagerly awaiting the new rug but everything else has just been swapped around and edited using our existing furniture and bits and pieces.
Can't wait to show you the finished room! What projects have you been working on? XX

Sunny Holidays

The boys are currently on half-term and Joe had his friend over for the night last night - we had a bbq, they played football on the green and are now nagging me to go on a picnic (which we will as soon as little legs wakes up!). It's a beautiful day so we must make the most of it! Happy Friday! xx
