Monday Brights

I'm very excited about my new purchases for my current project - our spare room.

My mum and sister are visiting from France at the beginning of November and it is currently (as left by the previous owners!) bright bubblegum pink with a crystal pink lampshade, pink gingham curtains and a (yes, you guessed it) pink blind with pink pom poms! It also has a green carpet. I would love to take this out and burn joyously but I don't know if I will be able to get round to this as well, we'll see. I must take a before photo to give you the full picture!

Anyway, we are allowed to paint the walls as long as they are neutral colours so I'm going to paint the pink out and have just bought these gorgeous cushions from the talented Willa Skye at Etsy:

Love them and can't wait to get them! Here are a few more of my favourites from her shop...

These Schumacher fabric pillows are stunning (expensive, but stunning!). I have my eye on these for our own bedroom.

Always love greek key designs, in fact I love all the fabrics she has at her shop, decisions decisions!

Happy Monday one and all x

Happy Monday Brights

I LOVE this kitchen, it immediately puts a smile on my face - especially on a miserable grey day like today. I'm not sure it would be my husband's cup of tea (or my 5 year old boy's either...) but since when was the kitchen anything to do with them?

The kitchen was designed by a company local to me, Stephen Moon of Tunbridge Wells, and was featured in September's edition of 'Beautiful Kitchens' magazine. This bespoke Shaker kitchen design created for a Tunbridge Wells family using bespoke hand-painted HDF cabinetry, Glacier White Corian worksurfaces and double sink with an Everhot two-oven electric range.

Fondant Fancy anyone?

I'm back! And Happy Monday!

Phew! What a month August has been, all that packing, sorting and cleaning whilst juggling the children on their school holidays, then our week away to the Cotswolds and then moving house the very next day! It's been hectic to say the least! We got back on the internet a few days ago but I must confess I have been very much enjoying catching up with everyone else's blogs before my own!
Over the next few days I will be posting about our exploring of the Cotswolds and also all about our lovely new home...it's good to be back!
